December 23, 2025Super friendly spot with a top-notch crew. The visual arrival is a bit tricky the first time, so I’d suggest asking for vectors or getting a VFR practice approach into the field. There are tall towers northeast of the airport that seem to create awful radio interference - nonstop static. I came in runway 22 on a long left base and basically had zero comms. Keep your head on a swivel at this airport! Highly recommend this FBO!!

June 18, 2025Very fine airport. ATC very simple and helpful to vector you in to land. Be mindful of the tall towers southeast of the field. Many towers and obstacles to be aware of but not dangerous. Macdill airspace is in close proximity on the southwest side so be on spot if VFR. Review right traffic patterns for 04/36. IFR clearance simply obtained from Tampa via phone with number on ForeFlight airport info page. A wonderful airport for access to Tampa Bay.
