October 1, 2025Extensive skydiving and glider launching operations on rwy 1-19. GA operations should strongly consider using rwy 5-23 if capable.

July 15, 2025avoid airport! Coming from Texas chose airport, fine fuel price. Called 10 miles out then 5. No reply. We flew over midfield. someone on radio called our tail # couldn't comprehend him. Continued our path. Voice came on asking what we were doing. Answer landing to pick up fuel. Voice said "go away" we were base turn final, watching for jumpers, which were nowhere. Turned final. Jump plane landed opposite direction from us. then took off headed straight for us. No communication. We aborted.
