June 20, 2025Just wanted to share with everybody and suggest flying to KPGD...I flew with my instructor yesterday and today did my solo crosscountry...gentleman on the tower/ground were super nice, patience and polite even after students made errors on calls, they made sure they called back on the radio and talked slow and clear! Good spot to fly, and would really like to meet them one day! Thanks again for what yall do for us KPGD

January 10, 2025Simple arrival, simple departure in a Piper Archer. Went to the new FBO, obtained a crew car for lunch, stayed in the lounge a while prior to leaving. Quite pleasant, modern facility. Purchased AVGAS and they dismissed the landing fee. ATC sounded quite active on the way in so be prepared when you get there if during busy day hours.
