Michigan Aviation (KPTK)

I've been a faithful customer at this FBO for more than twelve years. I live out of state, but this is still my hometown airport. In the past, the line crew knew me and would greet me by name. I always filled the airplane completely, regardless of fuel cost. Crew cars were returned with a full tank of gas. Today, a rather surly representative told me that single-engine piston pilots like myself cannot use the cars. That's certainly their prerogative, but I miss the FBO that once made me feel welcome back home.

Wow I was surprised by the outrageous ramp charge for NO Service. Dropped off a friend and his daughter to collect a car 10 min away. Was on the field for 10 minutes asked for a courtesy car (unavailable). Did not even chalk the plane. She was nice and but seemed ashamed that she had to assess a fee but said the owner was "watching" (new cameras installed).

$50.00 ram fee for single engine 182.

Fee for landing in a Cessna 182.... with no service and 10min stay. $50.00

Ramp personnel were very accommodating when we diverted for weather. Allowed us to plug in our plane as we waited for snow to clear. Fine facilities too.

This is a good FBO. Really fine personnel who provided top notch service. I hangared for 5 days and purchased fuel and appreciate their accommodation.
