Exorbitant fees, poor service, old facilities. The last time we were there they pulled our plane literally 100 yds away, even though the ramp was empty, (it's always empty, I wonder why) Go to Prattville instead, 1A9. It's just north of Montgomery, reasonable prices, low or no fees, good service and new facilities. Also has a wide, long runway.

Beware of Montgomery Aviation. The new charges are awful. $75 ramp fee for a single piston. I used to appreciate stopping here. Not anymore!

Pleasant personnel at Montgomery Aviation with many comforts --snacks, water, and a courtesy car. A superb FBO. Truly worth the stop in. I used the courtesy car, went to Hartzell (Skyech, Plane Power) just a mile or so down the road, and was given a tour by Seth. Doors are locked but simply ring the buzzer. Remarkable facilities with machine shops, engineering labs, test stands, NDT facilities, plus all the product support, sales, and marketing departments. And for a fine Mexican restaurant that everyone there suggested go to Parrilla Loca. Really good food.
