LAND ON 27, DEPART 9, especially at night. I was flying the RNAV 09 and those trees felt way too close for comfort. The longtime FBO manager had passed 2 days before I wrote this, but I called the after-hours numbers, got access into the FBO with a call and Viente uno cincuenta, and they told me where to get the courtesy car. Will return.

If you don't know this airport, I'd stay away from RWY 9 after dark, even if the winds say to use it. There is a big hill and some very tall trees on the approach end. RNAV 9 is NA at night. It's still very doable if you keep it high when you need to, but the VASI is intentionally disabled.

Incredible FBO. Flew in yesterday for a volunteer flight and the personnel was very accommodating. Very well maintained and their Halloween decorations were awesome. Highly recommend coming here.
