The ladies at the front counter were very nice. The line guys were just OK (didn't offer any help with the bags). Fueling happened pretty fast. I killed some time in the pilot lounge. It really could use a refresh. It also needs a pesticide treatment, because a family of 4 cockroaches were hanging out on the floor right under my feet.

Self serve 100LL at east ramp has been shut down and removed. Fueling only at FBO.

I landed here a few weeks ago and was quite impressed with the service. Front desk is very cordial and offered many amenities while I was getting topped off. I read some bad comments about the place being old (which it is). But it is far from dilapidated. It is one of the finer FBOs I have visited. I'll certainly use them for another fuel stop in the future.

FBO has fine personnel. The facility is in need of a major renovation - it is extremely run down, filthy, and has no amenities for pilots. Even the furniture/TVs need replacement, as well as the stained ceiling tiles.

Was out here for around a month on a work trip. Flew just about every weekend. Always had planes ready with prompt and cordial service. Will stop by here if I pass thru again.

BE AWARE-- Initially upon arrival I was told tie-down space for overnight parking was available. Next employee stated no tie-down space available for overnight parking due to a new flight school leasing all available tie-downs. You can park on ramp at your own risk or rent available spot in the community hangar for approximately $52.00 per night for a 172 size airplane. If you park on the ramp your light plane is at risk of being blown around by jet and prop blast or gusty winds.

Had a fairly brief stop there in a C414. Ramp fee was $125 and waived with 50 gallons. Attentive personnel, used the courtesy car for an hour to run up to the AFB.

In response to Dylan L’s comment below, we were unable to successfully work out a lease extension with the Montgomery Airport Authority that would have allowed us to substitute the existing FBO terminal building with a new structure. At this point, our brief lease does not permit extensive renovation or replacement of the current facility. Moving ahead, the Montgomery Airport Authority will decide replacement and renovation issues. We wish to keep maintaining the place correctly and value your remarks. Fine facility, but the woman working the desk was condescending and impolite. She specifically informed us there was no ramp charge, but after about a brief 5 minute stop to drop off a traveler she told us we were “lingering too much time” and that she would have to assess us a charge. When I challenged her about what she stated about 45 seconds prior, her instant response was to menace to contact security. She then refused to allow my instructor back onto the ramp to reach the plane until I finished in the lavatory, because she observed her exit the right seat and presumed she was just a foolish traveler. Will not be coming back. And if so, will not leave the plane for more that 30 seconds.
