The Georgetown terminal has limited tie-down space, but is the finest place to park if there's room. Fuel is inexpensive, so be patient as training aircraft are often getting fuel. The students and instructors are usually GOOD at getting the fueling accomplished very quickly, and moving out of the way of waiting planes (they have had lots of practice). The control tower does an unbelievably superb job of managing one of the busiest little airports in Texas (5 schools on field). A+ to ATC!

Flew in to take possession of a new to me 150M and I have nothing but wonderful things to state about this airport. Fuel is inexpensive and the controllers were very good! I have heard that the pattern gets active with student traffic and controllers sometimes give unusual taxi clearances thru non-movement areas. I did not experience it but it is useful to be mindful of!

Good place for inexpensive fuel but terrible control tower management. Worst tower controller I have ever observed. On 5/23/25 the tower controller permitted 6 airplanes in the pattern to continue doing touch and gos while 5 airplanes sit at end of the runway waiting over 20 minutes to depart in the hot Texas heat. Avoid this airport and go to Temple (TPL) for inexpensive fuel and welcoming people.
