March 15, 2026First trip into KGLS. Tower dude was super friendly and pretty laid back. The FBO rolled our rental car out to the airplane with drinks waiting. Topped off... and I swear they had me refueled before the airplane was even shut down. ;-). The only downer was that the rental car comes with a mileage cap, which made the run to Houston a pain. Other than that, really good experience! RV-7A

January 7, 2026Great staff!!! We showed up with two planes on 2/7/26, an RV6a and a 182. Shannon was there at the aircraft and gave us a ride. Friendly right from the first second. We headed into town for lunch and came back to both planes topped off and ready to head out. KGLS ground was pretty comical and let both rookie pilots pick up a little on the rollout. Overall, awesome experience.
