Jet Center does the right thing, AGAIN! What a professional and much-appreciated business. The lineman came over to meet me in the Customs Box and offered help with anything I might need -- fuel, chocks, etcetera. I told him I'd check in with CBP and then head over to Jet to pay the facility fees, ASAP, and that I was okay on fuel. He said if I was just doing a quick-turn, there were NO facility fees. That was a really nice "USA Welcome Home" after I emptied my piggy bank to help the Bahamian Aviation Authority fill theirs! THANK YOU JET.

Agree with comments from Slow P. about customs. This is the location for clearing customs enroute to Bahamas. AAP Jetcenter is immediately next to customs. AAP Jetcenter is superb in all ways. They also rent life boats and vests. Had rental car on the ramp for us. Good restaurant in FBO for breakfast & lunch. DONT MISS THE NAVY SEALS MUSEUM less than 10 min. away!!!

I am standing with Customs. 1.) Thanks the pilot community for the good feedback here at FPR. 2.) He says try to call Before 2 hours AHEAD of Your departure BUT AFTER YOUR E-APIS HAS BEEN FILED. With limited staffing most of the time and they process boats, planes, global arrivals, and more. 3.) Call a year before if you know you're coming. He says they'll put you on their "To-Do" list. Seriously, call a week before AFTER YOUR E-APIS HAS BEEN FILED. AVOID calling WITHIN TWO HOURS-DON'T.
