July 15, 2025Modern Aviation just bought out Wilson air center. Same good staff, still a marvelous FBO. There are a few issues to watch out for. Bring your own water bottles, they do not take American Express yet, and they will not let you back onto the ramp to get to your plane without visually seeing your pilots license. I am sure these are just growing pains for a new corporate entity. You can only imagine how awkward it will be when you are learning these things in front of your passengers.

May 5, 2025Surprisingly simple and inexpensive to fly in/out of in a SEP. I appreciate that this airport is so GA friendly even though it is a huge hub

May 5, 2025Wilson Air staff and FBO are superb. They treated us and our piston single like VIPs. Super friendly, super easy in and out, and overall prices are competitive. I spend a few weekends a year in Charlotte visiting family and definitely plan to visit Wilson Air again.
