April 20, 2026I planned a log IFR XC and wanted to make sure the field wasn't dealing with any flooding, so I called airport manager Michael Jermeay. He picked up quickly and was really helpful with the airport details, including the pilot-controlled lighting and the lights being INOP (we arrived at night). Those items were all NOTAM'd, but he was still kind enough to point them out. He also confirmed fuel, the crew car, and everything else we needed. Clean facility, a pretty cool VOR approach, and the Mackinac Bridge looks pretty cool all lit up at night!

August 22, 2024Flew in for a visit to see friends. Mike, the airport manager, was very welcoming and helpful. With a 10 gallon fuel purchase the tie down fee was waived. Many good restaurants nearby. Truly a picturesque area to visit with a wealth of historic sites to explore.
