Flew VFR in for the second time in a Cessna Cardinal on 7/28/25 for an overnight at Atlantic Aviation. The controllers at Philadelphia Approach and Tower are spectacular. The sequenced me in easily with the larger jets, though I was asked to maintain my speed up on final to avoid re-sequencing. Be ready to write down taxi directions the moment that your wheels touch the ground and have a taxi diagram handy to help through the complex facility. I expect to come back often.

Fine facility we're fairly helpful. But when I landed I told them how much fuel I needed. Came back in the morning and still wasn't fueled up. Make certain to call and confirm

We stopped at PHL in our SR 22 and the experience could not have been superior. Approach & tower were clear and gave directions that were easily manageable. There was a small conflict when approach said keep your speed up, and Tower said slow down, but it was simple to handle. Departing was among the simplest we have had, much less for a busy Class B. I suggest filing a flight plan that includes waypoints rather than direct, because you will probably get a very complex clearance otherwise.
