March 21, 2026Great airport overall, and Coast is a great FBO! Even with a busy pattern. (Students!), SoCal, Tower, Ground were all professional and patient. Landed 28 left with an easy approach, landing, and taxi to the FBO. Coast Aviation made parking easy and handled my Cherokee 180 professionally like it was a corporate jet. The customer service reps inside were friendly, courteous, and professional, and took good care of me. The pilot lounges are great! I will be back. Thank you Coast Aviation.

February 28, 2026Beautiful airport and approach. Tower was helpful, super friendly, and really accommodating given how busy they were. Crown Air was great. They were very friendly to GA and the crew car was clean and had a full tank of gas.

February 28, 2026Transient parking for single-engine pistons is $11 a night on the ramp just east of CrownAir. Tiedown chains are available too. Keep an eye out for a payment envelope the airport staff may leave on your airplane if you don’t prepay. Credit card payment is accepted at the machine outside the restaurant building south of the ramp. FS fuel can be ordered through the FBO.

Be alert to military jet aircraft in vicinity of of airport & 4.7 nm NW of airport bearing 312 in vicinity of mission bay vortac.
