June 29, 2026Got into KFNL late in the day while staying clear of thunderstorms. Purchased nearly 50 gallons of fuel, then Jet Centers of Colorado billed $390.00 for an overnight hanger for a Cessna 182. Absolutely no advance notice. Great place! Not.

June 10, 2026Service was good, the facility was nice, and the people were great. The controllers treated me well too. But the prices are crazy. If this hadn't been my destination, I wouldn't have stopped here.

January 11, 2026This has always been a fine airport, but in recent years, the governance has taken a position against general aviation. They wish to attract the airlines and corporate aviation to boost the revenue. They have kept squeezing out small businesses like the avionics shop and raising land lease rates. They are taking out of service the crossing runway. They will be shutting down half the only remaining runway for 6 to 8 months making it only one way in and one way out while they widen it.
