I had a wonderful experience arriving at Chetek for my daughter's gymnastics competition nearby. The airport is situated in a lovely region, the FBO structure was tidy, spotless and relaxing. Fine fuel rates at the self-serve fuel which was simple to operate. Best of all, a top-notch experience with the airport manager, Matt, who assisted us with transport in the region utilizing the airport's courtesy van. I strongly suggest this airport!

In and out of Chetek multiple times a year. Fine airport and the runway was just repaved. As of 7/7/24 runway marking have not been painted on yet. No tie downs on main ramp but 3 tie downs in the grass. A few tie downs as well on pavement over by E-Z. Beware of paramotors during the summer, many don't use radios and fly low level around the airport and in the approach paths.

Had a good experience today at Chetek. Runway was just paved and is really fine. Everyone was so helpful and fuel prices are good. Very beautiful takeoff on 35 over the trees and water.
