Everglades Airpark (X01)

Excellent FBO. James was really pleasant and suggested some great spots to check out nearby. Will definitely return and see James any day of the week.

Likely the friendliest FBO around. James, who is here five days a week, is a genuinely funny, great guy to chat with. Parking during the daytime is free, fuel prices are low, and crew bicycles are available for a lunch trip into town. Every restaurant is within about 2 miles. It's a scenic airport, with some new hanger space expected down the road.

Super awesome place to fly into!! Triad Cafe was a really good stop. They'll come pick u up if they aren't too swamped. Fuel prices are cheap too. All in all, a great experience!! Ben

Love the 15/33 over water approach. My preferred spot to visit. Fuel pump was operational and fair priced. Tried to get a bike but apparently the key for the locks is missing. Spencer with the airport authority was very helpful. Golf cart is available to rent. But be sure to bring bug spray during summer months.

What a good airport to fly in and walk around, the manager was super fine and helpful with the rental details and airport info. Beautiful approach and cool sunset departure makes this airport special! Will be back!

James was super friendly and really helpful with tips about downtown, made the whole experience very enjoyable. Just make sure you pack bug spray though, the mosquitoes will absolutely eat you alive...

Still my favorite place to go. It's been a good while since I was there. Glad they have fuel again. Gonna swing by Monday for gas on the way back from the Keys.

We flew a couple days ago with a friend. Really helpful personnel. Enjoyed the city for a lunch experience. I suggest going to Triad's for lunch and then have a coffee at HavAnnA Cafe.

There have been talks to shut this Gem down because of minimal movements in and out. Zach & his Dad have been operating X01 for a long time and are both super welcoming and always helpful. The runway was elevated and the span lengthened a few years ago. X01 is a good fuel stop and the Airport Board has kept 100LL costs as low as any in Collier. No Crew Car. X01 is a fine intermediate stop prior to going over water to the Keys! Neat experience/water on 3 sides. Tell Zach "hello". BJ
