Good airport to stop at! We arrived at 430pm and was able to get the car before the FBO closed. Owner recommended El Rodeo Mexican restaurant. We were not let down! Very recommend this airport as a stop! Be sure to leave your plane in the spots with tie downs only. They have helicopter and turboprop aircraft in regularly. Spot without tie down ropes are greatly affected by rotor wash and can cause damage to your plane!

Enjoyed this FBO. Stopped here twice recently. Both times the personnel was friendly, fuel pump simple to utilize, facility was tidy, and the fuel was inexpensive. Will be stopping here again.

On our path to CWS, we chose this facility for a fuel stop at midday. First off, after purchasing 50 gals of 100LL, the supervisor approaches and tells me that my method for using their gear was incorrect. I did not coil the hose up correctly…i did not place the nozzle back right…clearly this fellow was having a rough day. So, after receiving what seemed like a reprimand, i went inside to maybe obtain something to consume or drink. As i walked into the FBO, all the people stared at me as though i was out of place. They did not even have a drink machine…they only had fountain beverages. They had a small kitchen area but nobody offered us any food. After utilizing the washroom, we simply departed with no food or beverage…I will not return unless they are providing fuel for free. It was simply a terrible time. HailState!..Go OmaDawgs!

Flew into M17 to fuel up & collect passenger only to be stuck due to electrical issue that would not permit the plane start. The A&P Rex assisted troubleshoot on the ramp with no outcome. They maneuvered some planes around & placed me in the hangar to keep troubleshooting. Could not determine so put me in the corp hangar so Cirrus A&P and could work on next day. We fixed & departed following day - all FREE of cost! My respect to Rex / Seth & team! Real Midwest welcome.

Jum the weekend volunteer is a good fellow full of local lore and counsel. The courtesy cars are in fine shape. SOAR, while very polite, declined transient business. I just wanted an oil change while I waited on weather but they said they had customers.
