Fallbrook Community Airpark (L18)

Update 4/19/26 - The gate code on the board has been changed. It opens the main gate now. I went to Las Brisas Taqueria restaurant, and they have a really good mexican food. The airport security guard mentioned that their phone number was recently changed because the company changed. The new number is (619) 895-3894. For help with the gate or any security related issue, call that number and they will assist you.

Visited the airport again 8/31. Went to town to get some food. La Cucina Trattoria is a fine restaurant. It's a fusion between Italian and Indian cuisine. Came back after sundown and the main gate was closed. The code wasn't functioning. Called security on the intercom. He was very kind and opened the gate. He said the main gate code was changed recently. He doesn't know the current code. Left a message with airport manager to update the bulletin board. The pedestrian gate code is still correct.

Good small airport. Went there on a 172. With 40 degrees flap, the shorter runway is no issue whatsoever. Transient parking is near the helipads and chains are provided. There is a bulletin board with the gate code posted. Overnight parking is $5. The pedestrian exit is north just past the windsock. The center of town is about 2 miles north with many stores and eateries. I suggest bringing a bike or scooter to make the travel into town simpler.
