March 1, 2026Tantrums is open. Monday through Saturday 7:00 until 2:00. It is really good and the staff are super nice. Definitely going back. Great fuel prices at the SS.

February 24, 2026Solid airport. I tend to get 'ghost' ADSB returns when I'm coming in within about 10 miles of the airport, and that can be pretty alarming. On Wednesday when I was there, the AvGas fuel truck wasn't running. Self Serve did have a great price though!

January 23, 2026BOW has been our go to airport for years. The price on LL100 SS is great and the staff has always been very accommodating. This time we asked for a tour and were shown the new (and first) Digital/Remote Tower in the USA. Really impressive, and a very capable facility! Even though the FAA is slow to certify remote towers, the State of Florida has. Way more technically capable than a traditional tower. And there's a new controller training facility in the same building. trippg
