September 25, 2025Friendly and helpful FBO staff. However, do not rent from Hertz. They simply did not provide a vehicle we reserved. Totally unreliable service. After waiting on hold for about 45 min, the Hertz customer service manager states they couldn't assist us. Even though they state there are agents at the airport it is not true.

August 23, 2023Ramp was near full, so we tied down on a far edge. Airport mgr picked us up in a golf cart--fine. $5 landing fee, $20 / night tiedown fee for an SR22 but one overnight fee waived with full purchase. Hertz rental car can be arranged.

September 3, 2021There are fees; but, it’s Newport in the summer. Drew met us for parking, helped tie down and hauled us and bags to the FBO. Couldn’t have been treated better.

APT Lighting Schedule: Actvt reil runway 22; papi runway 22, vasi runway 4 & 16; mirl runway 04/22 & 16/34; taxiway a, b, c & ramp area - CTAF.
Deer & birds on & in vicinity of airport.
For cd when approach closed contact boston artcc at 603-879-6859.
Fuel Types Available: Fuel available 24 hours by credit card.
Hels reqstd to avoid main trml ramp for prkg or ldg. pls contact amgr.
Landing Fee: Ovngt prkg fee. ldg fee commercial & non rhode island reg aircraft.
Nmrs unlgtd obstns up to 150 ft AGL srndg airfield.
Noise Abatement: RWY 22 - Gain altitude as quickly as possible without compromising safety. Use Best rate of climb and maintain runway heading to 1000 ft MSL
