November 26, 2025Runway 30 is preferred calm wind runway (winds at or below 3kts). Also - voluntary noise abatement procedure for 30 is for a left turn to 260° when able to avoid overflight of the elementary school off the departure end.

October 2, 2025Similar to many reviews from others, restaurant Aire is not to be skipped. Chef/owner Charles is a wizard — his culinary skills will not let you down. With surface winds too strong for us to fly, we drove from Cape Cod simply to enjoy another lunch. It is very tough to locate an intimate atmosphere and superb food at the vast majority of general aviation airports. KTAN has a winner!

Avoid flying ovr the elementary school at der 30.
Caution wildlife, deer & geese on and in vicinity of airport and runways.
For cd contact providence approach at 401-738-8945, when approach closed contact boston artcc at 603-879-6859.
Hel avoid overflight of densely populated areas W & S of airport.
