This was our initial stop on a fine Father/Son journey from Oshkosh to the American west. Rick was super friendly and as a fellow AF guard members shared common experiences with my Son. The courtesy car allowed us to visit the town and this is highly suggested. We suggest the 5 O'clock club. The pilot lounge was perfect for a short layover with very clean toilets. Fuel was fairly priced and Rick lent us a tie down rope due to windy conditions. Highly suggested to stop here; you are welcomed.

Service and facilities at KUBE are FIVE star! Landed before 8AM to attend a funeral in Rice Lake WI. Checking out the late model crew car with full tank was simple and handy. (12 hour advertised limit on the crew car!) We came back 4 hours later to meet manager Richard Brekke who is GA enthusiast whose father was WW II P51 pilot. Rick assisted me top off with reasonably priced fuel and pleasant discussion. GA airports such as this are a vanishing breed - be sure to support airports like KUBE!

Good airport with fine people, a courtesy car and reasonably priced fuel. There is a maintenance shop on the field but they only work on Cirrus. Cumberland has a lot to offer including Louie’s Meat Market. Communication with Minneapolis center was a little sketchy below 6,000 ft the day I was there.
