March 7, 2026Pulled in for fuel and lunch on the way down to South Carolina. Was really glad to meet Carrol at JP's barbecue, what a sweet lady! Great food! I got the fat momma sandwich, and it was super good! I'll make a point to stop again if I ever get the chance.

July 15, 2025Friendly controllers. Self-serve fuel pumps are at the end of taxiway B on the left. In front of the pump is a dead end, so do not pull in too far if you plan to taxi out of there; this is not a problem if you have a towbar or portable tug. Also, the hose is not super long if you have tip tanks, but it is manageable. As you face the tower, the right half of the tie-downs are, apparently, reserved for the flight school, so unless you are marshaled in, park as far left as possible.
