Run, do not walk, to get here! These folks are AMAZING! Delcy and the whole crew are EXACTLY what GA is all about! I’ve been in there a bunch of times over the years, and every single time they’re right there fast to fuel me up, hand over the crew car, point me toward a hotel and/or somewhere to eat, etc., etc. Also, when I’ve been weathered in there a couple of times, there’s always a CFI or local pilot I can hit up for local flying and current weather advice.

Very fine people. We parked for a week while we vacationed in the vicinity. They were very helpful and informative both times we were there. Warning: there is a bluff in the left downwind about the place you turn base for RW 25. It is very disconcerting to be ~300AGL on downwind/base. In fact, the airport notes say that the runway is right turns at night.

I based out of this airport back in May while running survey in the Portland area and I must say I have seldom felt as at home as I did here at Troutdale. From the day I arrived to the day I departed I received nothing but the finest hospitality one could request and I will certainly go out of my way to stop here again!

Best FBO ever. Truly, I have visited hundreds of FBO’s in every state in the US, this facility is as good as they come regarding being accommodating to light aircraft, friendly and helpful. Connor was absolutely awesome and made our stay in Troutdale infinitely better than if we had just parked and walked thru the gate. Thanks!
