Good spot to stop. Very welcoming and helpful.

Stopped for fuel on our way to Utah. Very welcoming, had a crew car and referred us to a local spot Penny’s Diner. It is worth visiting Rawlins just for Penny’s its 2 minutes from the airport. Snow drifts made it difficult to taxi for a low wing aircraft. We shall return

Diverted here due to weather, was met at parking with the fuel truck. Good welcoming service. Tidy small FBO with drinks and snacks. No self service fuel so watch business hours.

Superb stop overnight. Mike met us at the ramp at closing time and gladly refueled us, then was gracious enough to take us into town to the hotel and pick us up in the morning. Can’t say enough about the wonderful service we received. Will stop here again.

Classic is the FBO. They are the sole fuel choice on site. Supper welcoming and helpful.

Spent the night as we were running late. Hot afternoon and density alt was 9000+ with thunderstorms in the area so we decided to stay. Gave us a crew car for the night to get to our hotel. Fairly good fuel price and they had cold drinks for us. The next morning we found a tire that was low but Rat went out of his way to help us out and get us on our way. Super nice, friendly and EXTREMELY HELPFUL !

Does not have aviation oxygen obtainable

As far as I can tell, Classic Aviation is the FBO at the Rawlins Municipal Airport. We were greeted by Mike as soon as we taxied in. He couldn’t have been nicer. He fueled us up, found a spare hangar, and let us borrow the crew car. While we waited in the FBO for some friends to fly in, we had a very pleasant talk with Mike and others who wandered through. A very hospitable and friendly spot. We will make this our go-to stop when flying in the locale.
