Flew in to go eat at Griff's Burgers, like I have done previously, but was met with an unexpected charge to use the courtesy car. I requested 10 gallons of fuel and was informed that the courtesy car would be $15. Last occasion I was there, I was not billed so I chose to skip Griff's and return to south Louisiana. Avoid this airport !! My son was on a solo cross country and had a nose wheel flat. Ruston Aviation sold him a 3 year old inner tube for $359!! That was just for the tube. No labor. He had to pay an independent mechanic to help him install it. When I called to let them know that they made an error I was told that “we told him the price and he handed over his debit card”.
