Million Air (KRIC)

Million Air really came through after our Bonanza took serious damage from a bird strike. The airplane was stuck at W96, nine miles east of KRIC, where there was no maintenance available, and it had a shattered windshield, smashed altimeter, damaged autopilot, audio panel, and more. Mickey drove out to W96, installed a new windshield, and made the airplane ferryable to KRIC. After that, the team completed the repairs and worked with the insurance company to arrange payment. They also handled the annual inspection while they had it. The pricing was reasonable.

Good service & fine convenience & excellent FBO facilities! Diverted here late one evening flying family Skylane from Providence, RI to Pompano Beach, FL. I was weary and did not want to land late at night in a smaller airport with closed facilities. Arrived at 11pm, was greeted and taken care of. Filled tanks and had a 4 hour snooze in the pilots snooze room. Felt refreshed to continue my journey south. Well worth the rather steep fuel cost. Other fees were waived.

Absolutely disappointed.. personnel were very kind but they didn’t even have coffee/bottles of water. Also the facility smells dusty and old.

Was truly let down with the Fbo. Do not misunderstand me, personnel were pleasant. But the facility is old and deteriorating particularly for their steep fuel costs. Will not come back.

Can’t sing million air’s praises enough. Had to land for some emergency maintenance. Their shop had somebody available to fix my issue, a crew car ready for lunch and fine staff in the FBO. I was on my way within a couple of hours.
