I flew into Lakefront for a medical conference on St. Patrick's Day. There were six planes all converging on the airport, but approach control and tower did a super job getting everybody sequenced in. I went with Skyborne and got treated like royalty. Came in and got greeted by a really friendly, accommodating staff. They keep asking if you need anything or if they can do something extra for you, from the line guys who meet you first all the way to the CSRs inside. I would not suggest this FBO. Owner is impolite and there truly is no reason to utilize them when you can have prime service at Flightline.

First, really fine people. It’s a temporary double-wide & an ATV from plane to FBO. From the street you, taxi, or Uber, has to go thru a security gate opened by an employee on an ATV from the office. It’s awkward. The main activity is a flight school. The “FBO” is a little portable one-person counter on the side. I’m OK with FBO fees w/luxury experience. My 3 nights bill was eye-watering w/o fuel, but at least at one of the other two FBOs, the luxury experience would’ve tempered my shock

We came in a few weeks back pretty late at night and got the chance to use Skyborne for the first time. Very friendly folks and extremely helpful. The owner came out and met us at the airplane and even helped with the baggage. We had a tough time finding a rental car for the overnight so the owner let us take the brand new Audi crewcar over to the overnight. They are in a temporary facility, waiting on a new hanger and FBO to be built. I would recommend them highly.

Everybody there is super friendly and accommodating. When services are needed, they get back to you fast. It’s straightforward, no hassle, and very pilot-friendly. Crew cars are top notch. Highly recommend them!

Fuel might be inexpensive but you receive what you pay for. I suggest Flightline First or Signature Aviation. Both supply well trained staff members and courteous.

Fantastic service, friendly and helped at every turn with bags. May 2025, $15 handling and $15 facility not waived with fuel, $25 per night ramp parking. Fuel pricing very competitive (competition lowered it to match Skyborne). Good new competition on the field.. Kind of clumsy setup with a trailer but they're working on a new hangar. Should be ready by 2026. Support the underdog, Skyborne is local competition to established incumbents. Free blue bell ice cream too!
