June 14, 2026Paid a $30 ramp fee just to make a five-minute drop-off in a Cessna 182, without using any services. The bathrooms were closed, the staff was unfriendly, and management (Katie) won't call back. If the plan is to charge GA pilots for nothing and then ignore them, this place is doing an excellent job. Avoid it if you can.

June 5, 2026Tower controllers are incredibly rude, unprofessional, and honestly just terrible at what they do. The airport would probably run better on a CTAF.

September 17, 2025I have been flying into Mather two or three times a year for the last 10-years. Modern Aviation has always been good. Most of the time they drive my rental car to my plane. On the occasion they don't, I get a ride to the jet center by the line people. Fine snacks and water, as well as a well stocked pilots area to freshen up.
