October 1, 2021Hassle-free US Customs experience. The McCreery Aviation fuel truck was waiting for us on the customs apron when we arrived. CSR came too and processed the transaction right there, offered us cold water, and we were on our way. Quick friendly customs fast turn. We’ll return!

September 9, 2021I first visited McAllen a year ago for my instrument training at McCreery and have since bought a plane and visited McAllen (and McCreery) well over a dozen times from my home base of Mexico City. Once you grasp the procedure, clearing customs is simple (ensure you phone ahead and ask for authorization on 956-682-2331 after you’ve submitted your eApis). The controllers are accustomed to both local and military students and are quite patient. I’m a big admirer of the airport and McCreery aviation and could not suggest it more highly.

For cd when atct is closed contact crp approach at 361-299-4230.
Jet or large propeller aircraft trng prohibited (including practice apchs; tgl & practice instrument approach procs) due to noise abatement procedures effect 2300-0600.
No 180 degs locked wheel turns on runway 14/32.
No aircraft eng run-ups on trml apn.
