March 11, 2026Finally checked Leadville off the "to-do" airport list. Nice day, winds were out of the north at 10 gusting 17. The FBO staff was very friendly. Used the crew car and went into town to eat.

July 25, 2025Landed there recently to say I did it! Got the certificate and purchased a lot of souvenires. Runway is fine and broad and long. Gas very reasonable. Airport guys greet you warmly and congratulate you on the accomplishment. Glad I did it and hope to again someday.

April 26, 2025I am in there quite often. Good team members with Josh, Jim and Matt. Fine airport runway, etc. One of the finest, especially compared to the other mountain airports that have insane costs and charges.
