July 25, 2025Landed there recently to say I did it! Got the certificate and purchased a lot of souvenires. Runway is fine and broad and long. Gas very reasonable. Airport guys greet you warmly and congratulate you on the accomplishment. Glad I did it and hope to again someday.

April 26, 2025I am in there quite often. Good team members with Josh, Jim and Matt. Fine airport runway, etc. One of the finest, especially compared to the other mountain airports that have insane costs and charges.

December 18, 2024A Canadian flying the US to obtain valuable hours,knowledge and practice.Improving my teachings thru camaraderie and adventure into unknown zones. Flew into Leadville in the afternoon.Quite well kept FBO with snacks,coffee and $swag.The journey was full of beautiful scenery.Superb staff greeting my accomplishment.I received a certificate for navigating the highest airport in the US and bought a flying book.Had a super pleasant experience! @fly_n_style_ Dream Navigate Achieve

Runway 34 ha +50 ft power lines 750 ft right of threshold.
Runway h1 has 20-30 ft trees 130 ft east of pad.
Runway H1 Surface: Runway h1 has 6-8 inch lip all around edges; concrete has longitudinal & corner cracking.
