January 16, 2026Came in from Boulder CO in Feb 2026 for a weekend in Salida in a 182. Justin and Ethan really went above and beyond to line up a plug-in for preheat and a car to run us to and from town. The FBO was awesome, with a cozy fire, friendly folks, and clean amenities (dog friendly!), plus really good fuel prices. Definitely recommend stopping here, and we'll be back soon! Check out Moonlight pizza in town.

June 8, 2025Likely the most welcoming airport around. Affordable fuel, courtesy cars, kind manager and dogs, and Shavano aviation gave us an oil change and o2 refill without difficulty.
