Frost Aviation (KLRU)

After 49 years of professional jet flying around the world, I’ve seen pretty much every type of FBO! First time landing at LRU and taxiing over to Frost Aviation, you’re honestly blown away by the service level and integrity from the line crew (Isaac), and it clearly comes from the same sterling qualities of owners Chris and Denise Frost! Crew car. Fairly priced fuel. Super positive attitude! Frost Aviation simply gets it right, and I love seeing them help train the next generation of aviators!

Wow, Denise Frost was so accommodating when my wife and I ended up needing an unplanned overnight stay in Las Cruces. Frost Aviation really went above and beyond-from the free cookies in the FBO, to the crew car, to taking my after-hours call when I needed help. I'll definitely stop here anytime I'm passing through again. Oh, and their avgas was the most affordable! Thank you!

Excellent place to stop. Great-priced fuel, excellent runways and facilities, plus a restaurant on site. For GA friendkt, Frost is the spot to go. Tough to beat around this area.

I've dropped in a few times, and the folks there have consistently been really helpful. The facilities are excellent, and they've been very accommodating with the courtesy crew car whenever we've arranged it before flying in.

Last year, while arranging a flight from Austin, Texas, to San Diego, California, I picked Las Cruces because their avgas prices were reasonable. Denise greeted me and pleasantly explained that the facility stays open 24 hours, then gave me the details on their crew car. She was incredibly kind and welcoming. I've made six stops there over the past six months, and I won't be stopping anywhere else. You don't often find that level of service and friendliness at an FBO!

Denise really went out of her way getting me a crew car and hotel room with hardly any notice! Frost Aviation has a very clean, well-organized FBO. I’ll be making this a regular stop.

Dropped in for the week, and Frost Aviation knocked it out of the park once again! They honestly make you feel like part of the family! Denise was nice enough to drive me over to the rental car place, and they let me leave my 150 on their excellent, freshly repaved ramp! The facility is always spotless, and everyone there is incredibly friendly!

I rang late Sunday, and Frost was kind enough to set aside the crew car keys for me. Fuel was priced very fairly, and the FBO was clean with a friendly atmosphere. Hopefully I get to make another stop at Frost sometime!

A good stop overall. Fuel prices are excellent, the line crew was really helpful, and their crew car policy is generous. There are several tie-down spots, though high-wing pilots should bring straps or rope.

Really friendly service-super convenient, spotless, and seriously nice!! I absolutely love this FBO!
