Line guys spend more time talking to their friends on the phone on the ramp than filling airplanes. Usually CAA FBOs are good but avoid this one.

We have been coming to this place for many years and always tolerated the uninspiring service because there were zero fees. That has now changed. Was billed $55 for a single night with a Baron. Never saw a single line staff member, parked ourselves, carried our own luggage, etc. Went to depart the following day and they had no clue who we were. Perhaps if they want to start charging like the superior FBO's, they ought to act like one. Will seek out other options moving ahead. Exercise caution.

Came in today for a quick turn expecting poor service based on all the reviews and boy was I happy to be proven wrong! Met by 2 attentive line guys (called ahead 15 mins before landing -- they were ready), filled me instantly, and they even put down the carpet by my door. Girl at the desk was sweet and efficient. Clean modern facilities. Definitely now high up on my list of quick turn CAA FBOs!

Stopped at Honaker expecting poor service based on the reviews that were posted. Upon landing I was met by two linemen who offered to help with the baggage. Justin gave us counsel on how to get to our hotel. When we returned the next day the fuel order was correct and the $35.00 fee was more than fair for a TBM.

Meh. First 2 times I went there, it was fine. Last 2 times TERRIBLE. I do not have time to detail all the problems. Go to the other FBO or a different airport.

We fly into Honaker with our A36 regularly to visit family. Parking is free overnight and the personnel is always friendly. No charge to use their facilities, including the pilot lounge and complimentary soft drinks and coffee. Highly suggested.

Recently landed at JVY for my initial visit to Louisville. Stayed Wednesday to Sunday morning. The tie downs worked good I was offered assistance to unload my plane and again when I returned the friendly line service guy helped me load back up in the rain. The facility is very fine and upon my return to depart my plane was topped off as requested. I would use this FBO again. Thanks for the friendly service.
