Awesome airport situated in National Park, with very scenic approach from the North. That said, one can tell the FBO has a monopoly, as their jet fuel prices are some of the highest in the nation, along with their overnight and handling charges. Steer clear of the FBO if feasible.

Stopped here for the first time in a T206. A bucket list stop and was not let down! Do your homework and right conditions it is a smooth rewarding journey. Once you get over the high terrain, lots of room to work with amazing view. Get a reserve ramp spot and enjoy lining up with the heavy iron! Line guys were super nice. More on me than them, I was on VFR flight following and they handed me off the tower, guess no radar so tower couldn't see my location, not a big deal but just FYI. Austin E.

First time flying in to KJAC in my C182. Worried given all the older comments. I thought it was good. I did call ahead to reserve a spot. Tower, line guys, and FBO desk were all kind, courteous, and accommodating. Didn't need fuel so paid the overnight fee. It was fair. I'll keep coming until I have an experience like some of the previous posters. My first and only experience was very positive.
