Used to go with these folks on journeys to south Florida, but no more. Terrible disposition and service presently

Bonanza BE35. Purchased 16 gal of fuel. Stayed 3 evenings, billed $25 ramp charge each evening. Information on ForeFlight stated it would be $10 per evening single engine with the initial evening waived with a fuel purchase. Usual issue is you never know what the expense will be until you get there and pay. Ropes at the tie down were in bad shape.

Welcoming personnel and a good GA airport

We flew in to visit friends for an afternoon. The linemen directed us to park. Filled out some paperwork, and departed for a few hours. Zero charge for the parking, upon our return the plane was caulked and tied down ready to go. Very simple to get to on the airport. Certainly would recommend them.

Good FBO. Service is superb, line staff, front desk attendant, manager. They are always ready to assist and to give you the finest experience.

AV gas fuel pump not operating 11/19/2024

Fuel is a bit greater sometimes on the field but I think the customers service makes it worthwhile. Flew in for lunch 1/22/23 and Blake made it super simple for us to tie down and fly in/out. Ride picked us up right outside the gate. Not a far walk. Will surely use again and return to The fuel Depot at Bobby’s landing.

Likely not returning, too unfortunate because I had good experience with Bobby’s last year. Many communication problems. Doesn’t reply to emails and phone is answered by the line personnel who aren’t useful with logistics queries like car rental, overnight charges etc. On day of leaving KHWO I called ahead, but when I arrived it still took over 40 minutes to finalize 17.7 gal fueling statement (front desk was blaming line personnel but ultimately was front desk’s poor handling). When I got receipt after I paid, I noticed I was billed for both nights when first night ought to be complimentary with fuel, but by then I simply wanted to depart (the sole email I got from Bobby’s confirms that fuel gets one night complimentary). Last but not least, they never informed Enterprise that vehicle was returned, so Enterprise gave me a call to ask why I still possess vehicle 5 days late… fortunately Enterprise corrected billing but what a bother from Bobby’s.
