OK3 Air at Heber Valley Pilot ReviewsOverall Rating:

February 6, 2026One of the worst FBO's in the country. They charge just like the Colorado mountain airports. They stay alive on charters that don't seem to care about price. Hell will freeze over before I go back and pay $9.00 a gallon for fuel when they get it for less than $3.00. The last time I bought Jet A at my FBO, I paid $2.96 with all taxes included.

December 28, 2025This is the worst FBO in the United States. I'll let all the remarks below speak for themselves. Interestingly, when I think of all of my interactions over the years, I cannot actually recall one instance where they were kind or welcoming. I'm a single engine guy, and they treat you accordingly. Be cautious.

September 24, 2025The Heber Valley Airport in Utah is regarded as the worst in the nation by the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association for its fuel costs, assistance, and charges. The primary concern is the absence of rivalry, with just a single fixed-base operator, OK AIR, maintaining a monopoly, resulting in extreme fees such as steep fuel rates and ramp costs.

September 3, 2025Relatively high costs due to absence of competition and apparently unfriendly municipal rules. But I fly in to HCR multiple times per year and I always have good interactions with the people working the FBO counter. The ramp staff seem a little unmotivated when it comes to pistons, but they will certainly assist if requested.

February 1, 2026Straight-up ripoff. Don't even bother coming here unless it's an emergency and you have no other option ANYWHERE else.

January 30, 2026Pretty much every time I come in here, I have a good experience with the line staff. Helpful, friendly, etc. My problem is with the FBO and the way they run the business. Not putting FBO-related fees anywhere on the website feels intentionally deceptive and anti-consumer. Some of the highest fuel and ramp prices around are just predatory. When you ask about it, they just say the $35 fee is out of their control. Ok..what about the other $604 for a single engine prop plane.. waived with 150g at 200% markup.

November 10, 2025My experience with OK3 has cost me thousands of dollars in needless charges and down time. They misdiagnosed beta ring wear on my PC12 and sent it off for unneeded replacement. They can't seem to get a qualified A&P that remembers to balance the flaps after swapping components. They miss sign offs on their work, effectively putting us in an AOG situation. They are sloppy, costly, and unresponsive. I have taken my business elsewhere and I would advise others to do the same.

May 4, 2025Welcoming staff in the office. Charges as listed are on the pricier side, though not as severe as some remarks could suggest. $55 facility charge. One occasion waived with 15 gal fuel purchase. Overnight ramp for single engine light piston $50. Infrastructure charge $10. One time. Oil at $13.21 per quart.
