No crew car. :-(

What a fun, professional group of young aviators we met here today after landing at GXY. We were warmly welcomed by Brenna, Austin and Brady (who all work here) inside the airport office. It had a fine feel to it, very spacious and comfortable; ideal for a chilly wintry day like today. We all talked aviation, they shared tasty homemade chocolate chip cookies with us, and we were back in the plane starting up for the trip home. A good stop along life's journey.

Zero motivation to do anything is the theme here. The lobby and line personnel act like you and your plane are invisible. Even if you're the only plane on the ramp, the staff won't even set their phones down to come outside. They won't even look up at you when you walk thru the lobby. This has been the case for me several times. Consider flying into an alternate airport if you can. Hangar space is also no longer available. They sold their hangar to a different company.

Dropped an Angelflight passenger today at GXY. Found the FBO staff to be uninterested in giving any assistance. Asked to purchase bottled water due to 100 degree heat, vending machine was empty, staff suggested try the restaurant down the hall, they were unable to provide water also. Self serve fuel functioned, but did not generate a receipt, so not certain what cost I paid for fuel. Appeared everyone there was too occupied with business on their phones to bother with paying patrons.

Wonderful stop because of weather. Garrett at front counter was good. Gave us crew car for the night and recommended the Hilton, Home run!

Flew in today and it was quite calm at the airport. The temp was about 90 with a DA over 7500' so there was not much activity. The folks at the desk were helpful and polite. They merit better reviews than what I had read.

Somoano, 6. They no longer have rental cars and Rides by Elizabeth (taxi service) did not follow thru.

Clean FBO with fine leather couches and spotless bathrooms. The doors close at 8 PM. Diverted because of weather. Did not use fuel pumps. The Barnstormers restaurant closes at 2 pm weekdays (closed Thursdays), and 11:30 am on weekends.

The weekend line crew is attentive and truly interested in assisting. The weekday staff is awful and uninterested in doing anything unless you are jet A. I used the self serve pump yesterday, asked if by onboard O2 could be filled. The answer was yes. After waiting for an extended period of time the I asked again if they were able to fill my tank. The guys response was NO. I have a king air on final. It would have been fine if someone would have communicated their situation.

Good stop with fine personnel. Busy! Eatery closed sooner than listed; we were provided a crew car for lunch instead but needed to keep heading home.
