October 6, 2025Many thanks to Steve at Western Plains Aviation, who quickly got me back in the air after an alternator failure in flight. it could have been a long weekend as the mechanics on the field are off on friday. But Steve (the shop owner) was in the office and was able to diagnose the issue, repair a broken connector, charge the battery and get me on my way fast. General Aviation at its finest.

July 30, 2025Good FBO, very responsive and helpful staff. True it's not DFW but isn't that a fine thing? Rental cars were there as requested, promptly fueled, good pilot lounge, no complaints on my part.
