January 11, 2026Been to KGHW several times. Good turf runway. The frequency of the GHW NDB was 346. The FBO is well kept but a bit old and musty.

June 1, 20257/1/25 Fine place, flew here on my solo XC. 15/33 is good, didn't land on the turf runway but it looked well maintained. Windsock could be swapped out. I couldn't figure out the door, you turn it clockwise after typing in the code. Terminal building is older but charming. Bathrooms are fine, there is even a shower. There was some notes that said the battery in courtesy car is dead as of 7/1/25. Card reader wouldn't work for me either on the fuel pump.

September 7, 2024Quiet airport & fine pilot lounge. Card reader on self-serve fuel did not function for us. Water cooler should be filled with tap water, as it did not taste very fine. Got our MN Passport stamps, which was what we were seeking.
