Wonderful airport. Pretty and smooth grass, there is a couple softer areas to the left side on approach end of 33 about 300 foot down, but remain in the middle and you are fine. Bicycles inside the FBO to ride into town or to Water's Edge. Migratory waterfowl around on 10/23/25 at sunset.

Awesome small spot! All grass, FBO provides showers, computers, bikes for use, small kitchen, tv with some movies, and a conference table. No vehicle when i was there, but there were keys (maybe for an old minivan) on the wall. Many neat things around within walking distance- beach, campground, downtown, and eateries. Only thing to mention is if you're unfamiliar with this airport, the taxiways in the grass could be tough and awkward to locate where to park.

Starbuck is a tremendous stop for a diner and camping. Restaurant is a short walk to lake. Reasonable food. Pilot lounge is well kept. Grass strip is first class. A nice community with aviators in mind.
