December 8, 2022Landed here for cross country fuel stop. Wind had got up significantly and we were very thankful for the in to wind grass runway in a tailwheel string-bag. Didnt see anyone but fbo office was immaculate with coffee machine and keys for courtesy car. self service fuel worked fine. 19PW

August 10, 2021Good people at KFOA. I flew to KFOA for my commercial VFR day and night 100NM 2 hour flights. Call ahead and speak with Karen. She is fine. There is a ladder to the side of the fuel farm. Use a credit card and you are set to go. They do have a fleet car. We used that to get dinner while we waited for an hour past sunset to start our night VFR leg. On a Sunday night they have several eateries open till 9PM.
