Quiet little airport. It was a fine stop to get inexpensive fuel. I appreciated the porch swing. Nobody was working when I arrived on a Tuesday afternoon. Regrettably the pilots lounge was locked.

Stopped on my way to/from Oshkosh. It is a small rural airport with very low fuel costs. The lounge was open with a clean toilet and complimentary bottled water. When you land, make sure to go to the apron on the North side of the airport. I initially went to the South side and met some lovely crop dusting pilots but alas, no Avgas. Liked the airport so much, when back on my return flight to Florida.

Fantastic people. Good amenities too. My stop was unplanned and although I still wish I had not had to stop (mechanical failure), I question that I could have selected a superior location. Greg (manager) and John (mechanic) made certain I could get a rental car to finish my travels and had the components ordered/installed and plane running again when I got back in town 3 days later. Next time thru I will stop intentionally.
