September 17, 2025Went into here for the first time in my Vision jet. RWY 35 was a big difficulty. You have terrain above you on both sides on the final which did not leave any space for mistake. It's was also a short runway for the VJ but had ample room to stop.

June 18, 2025Runway 17 steep departure was necessary to clear the mountain. Flew there with a C172P and did not have much margin with short field take off. Be advised if winds favor that runway.

Aircraft using runway 35 are not vsb from tower descending blw 1300 ft on base leg til apchg 1/2 mi final due to natural terrain.
APT Lighting Schedule: When atct closed, actvt reil runway 08 & 26; mirl runway 08/26 - CTAF.
Beacon Lens Color: Rotg BCN located one mile south of airport on top of a hill.
Condition unmnt 1630-0730 mon-fri & wkends.
Deer & birds on & in vicinity of airport.
Intxn tkofs, stop & go tkofs not auzd.
Noise abatement procs in efct, runway 17, sr-ss. depg runway 17, extd runway hdg beyond lake waubeeka community bfr turning crosswind.
Ppr for frmn takeoff/ldg; contact amgr.
Prohibited to ultralight & unregistered aircraft.
Runway 08 Controlling Object Clearance Slope: Approach ratio 12:1 based on dsplcd threshold.
