Legend Aero Serve at Cheyenne Regional/Jerry Olson Field Pilot ReviewsOverall Rating:

September 14, 2025Fine FBO, I would suggest. They met us as we taxied in, brought out our rental car and refueled us right away even though we were staying for a couple days. Good gas price for the region. Little America is a good motel. Also visit the Big Boy locomotive, Wrangler store and Plains Hotel. Another "high point" is the Bunk House Bar out west on Happy Jack Rd. It looks like the bar in The Blues Brothers where they had beer bottles thrown at them.

February 12, 2025It sounds like some pilots have had a bad experience, but everything went smooth on our recent overnight. CAA fuel was inexpensive but I was surprised the overnight hanger was $250 for a Meridian (had an early start and was worried about frost). The Historic Plains Hotel in town is an experience as is a visit to the Wrangler "cowboy" store.

February 8, 2025The worst FBO experience in my 14-year career. From arrival to departure, the personnel was indifferent—zero assistance, zero proactiveness. Worse, they disregarded safety. After pushing our Global Express out, they placed chocks, disconnected the tug, then removed the chocks without telling us or asking to set the parking brake. Unacceptable and irresponsible. Doubt they’ll care. PS: We paid $9,000 for eight days without fuel. Maybe buy a baggage cart and substitute the udly restroom sink!

September 8, 2024Stopped for overnight on long cross country trip. Joanne was SUPER helpful with courtesy car for lunch and recommendations for food. Also comped us some fine Cheyenne koozies to remember our stopover. Very nice and helpful folks!

August 12, 2025Fair service. Crew car is $30, waived with minimum 10 gallon uplift.

July 11, 2025Don't try to make arrangements for a hangar. It's first come first serve, won't even accept prepayment. They won't tell you yes or no even with a mid afternoon request for a hangar overnight. Ended up in the area multiple times, quick fuel turnaround but awful ramp/hangar experience.

February 21, 2025On March 20 I had to make an unplanned fuel stop during a dog rescue flight for Labor Of Love Project. The flight was from Portalis, New Mexico to Billings, Montana. I called ahead on UNICOM when I was about 20 minutes out. When I arrived, they had the fuel truck all fired up and ready to go. The line guys at Legend Arrow Serve got me turned around within 20 minutes when it counted. Excellent service. Thank you Legend Aero!!!

January 17, 2025The FBO does not support cirrus planes with engine preheaters. I called legend aero services and they stated they did not have an extension cord for me to utilize, nor was it feasible to plug in anywhere. We were flying across country and was hoping to fuel up. The temperature was supposed to be 17 degrees Fahrenheit so certainly needed the engine preheater to continue our trip the next morning. Instead we flew up the road to Laramie Airport and they were glad to accommodate.

August 23, 2024Picked this as a fuel stop/overnight on an eastbound XC. Warbirds including a B29 on the field. Good friendly service, CAA rates. I had a low tire the line guys inflated for me, thanks! PS the 'historic Plains Hotel' teeters somewhere between 'colorful' and 'sketchy' but for the adventurous, a fine downtown location with infinitely more character than the chain options!
