February 9, 2026Definitely a great airport, but it's busy as heck with LOTS of flight training traffic and corporate jets, so plan for that. Black Walnut and Galaxy are phenomenal as well. That said, ATC can get a little snappy now and then, so be ready to repeat their instructions right away.

December 27, 2025Galaxy FBO is on point, same story as every other Galaxy I’ve been to. These guys do a top notch job, and I always appreciate when they chock my plane since I have no parking break. Crew car was there for my wife and I so we could go grab a bite. ATC was solid and got us out ahead of the incoming traffic.

December 5, 2025Galaxy FBO was phenomenal. Superb accommodations for our plane and very professional staff. Facilities are top notch. Short term crew cars are available for a quick trip into town. Facility fees are reasonable for the level of service. Galaxy makes it a "must stop" for me on a XC. However: I also experienced a very grumpy tower/ground controller. Don't let it spoil your opinion of the airport. Some people are just....grumpy.
