December 5, 2025Galaxy FBO was phenomenal. Superb accommodations for our plane and very professional staff. Facilities are top notch. Short term crew cars are available for a quick trip into town. Facility fees are reasonable for the level of service. Galaxy makes it a "must stop" for me on a XC. However: I also experienced a very grumpy tower/ground controller. Don't let it spoil your opinion of the airport. Some people are just....grumpy.

August 25, 2025Flew there this morning and heard the grumpiest, most unprofessional ATC I've ever heard, somebody needs to find another profession. Felt bad for the pilot on the other end of that transmission. Most ATC are courteous and professional. Galaxy FBO is outstanding and The Black Walnut Cafe was a fine place to grab breakfast, they have a very nice outdoor balcony on the 3rd floor, recommend. Great place to fly to, but beware of the grumpy ATC.

August 5, 2025Been flying here for 8 months. ATC is stern but sensible. If you make an error, own it. They only are rude to folks with excuses. A simple apology goes a long way with them! black walnut is delicious, FBO is clean and enjoyable, well maintained airport overall
