November 21, 2025Landed here on 11/19 and the runway is all new asphalt. Ignore all the old reports of poor pavement. Newly paved. Top notch.

September 2, 2025New runway paving, apron starting August 1st 2025 thru September. Fine. No further grievances from the public pilots. Historical beacon on the field from the old mail, VFR routes, Washington- Atlanta.

March 24, 2025Runway is hard to observe on downwind and base until you're about to turn final. Runway surface was somewhat uneven, but no problem for my light single, just loud. - Duane C.
