Good spot. Easy to get in and out, theyve got chains on the parking spots. Self fuel and a truck available. Chopper and sight seeing ops. Friendly staff. Went down to Hoover dam. Easy uber out. A little tougher to get an uber back fyi. Might want to preplan that part after your visit or tour. Even the drop off uber said it can be harder to get ride share back. Worked out okay. Stayed on time for the continued trip back to Vegas Mccaren. Overflight of the dam was nice right afterwards. I got flight following as usual

Just got checked out by the Desert flying club to fly in there's a 172. Very neat observing all the twin otters and caravans from the Grand Canyon Airlines and especially the helicopters they were everywhere. Runway is ample long and smooth. There is one instrument approach, but we were flying visual. Many people in this airport. Just converse on the radio and you'll be okay. Cool jet, and Tran the parking that's apparently been there for long time. :)
