Bismarck Aero Center at Bismarck Municipal Pilot ReviewsOverall Rating:

Had an alternator failure and wound up AOG here. The Cirrus Service Center was excellent, really going out of their way to have us flying again the next day. Everybody, from the line crew and mechanics through management, was great to deal with. Highly recommended. We’ll be back, hopefully next time as a planned stop.

Superb facility. Too bad they lost CAA to the racket next door but still not worth visiting next door. Everything about Bis Aero is good, all the way from Maintenance to the line personnel. Highly recommend them.

Came in from the west coast and landed tired from heat and smoke. The line staff was out and parked us and showed us into the fine neat terminal. We placed our fuel order for the next day and we discussed about leaving the plane outside and was told they have staff there all night and would put it in a hangar if a tstorm came. Volunteered a crew car and recommended a hotel in a city that looked like they vacuum the streets! Reasonable fuel price and was a good experience.

On a cool evening, the line guy offered that they could put my plane in a hangar overnight, which I agreed to. I asked that the engine heater be plugged in. When I was paying my bill, I discovered that the hangar was not heated and they had forgotten to plug in my engine heater. So, $80 for an overnight hangar with no warmth. Otherwise, they are friendly people.

While flying from Minnesota to Montana, I had to make a precautionary landing because of an engine problem in my SR22T. They’re a Cirrus Service Center and got right to work. After downloading the engine data, they pinpointed the problem cylinder. In under an hour, the issue had been found and repairs were already in progress. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. They made me feel very comfortable during a pretty rotten situation.

Good and Quick full service fuel and rest stop. Far from the least expensive but would stop here again without doubt

I have visited Bismarck Aero Center a few times. The FBO is friendly, clean, and very helpful. It is top-notch. However, my experience with their maintenance shop is just the opposite. After having them perform a full annual on my Cirrus SR 22T, it ended up at another shop and was grounded after just 6.9 hours of flight time. 3 months and $37,000 later, it was finally released for flying. The moral of the story, you don't know how bad your shop is until you take your plane to a good shop.
